Ruger Mark IV Hunter Semi-Automatic Pistol
Ruger Mark IV pistols are the most recent evolution of Ruger’s 1949 Standard Auto Pistol. The Mark IV has a solid one-piece fully machined grip frame, a simple take-down mechanism for easy disassembly and cleaning, an improved bolt stop leaver, an ambidextrous manual safety, and a drop-free magazine release.
Ruger Mark IV Hunter Models have a target-crowned, fluted bull barrel, an adjustable rear sight, and a light-gathering front sight with HiViz technology. A drilled and tapped receiver for a Weaver- or Picatinny-style rail allows for easy mounting of optics. The Ruger Mark IV pistol uses the same 10-round magazine as the Ruger Mark III. The Ruger Mark IV pistol includes a magazine disconnect. If the magazine is removed from the pistol, this device prevents the trigger from being pulled.
